Hi, I’m Jamie! I am a coffee loving elementary music teacher and mom who is passionate about helping other teachers save time and energy with resources they can use right now so they can spend more time doing the things they love. My goal is to help elementary music teacher moms like you get more time in your day. I give teaching ideas, books, and more so that you can spend more time doing what you love. When I’m not teaching elementary music or playing with my toddler, I love to read, play the ukulele, and budget.
Why am I so passionate about helping teacher parents like you? Being a music teacher is hard. So is being a parent. Being a teacher and parent together can be a roller coaster. I found that, even though I adored being both a teacher and a mom, I had lost sight of the other dreams I had. I worked so hard to take care of everyone that I was too tired to pursue any of my own passions.
Looking around, I realized how many teachers I knew that were also struggling with balance. Between teaching, planning, data tracking, their own children, cooking, laundry…the to do list just never seems to end. I wanted to help music teachers by providing a place where they can find the information they need right now. Whether you need lesson ideas, games to use in your classroom, or data tracking advice, I hope that you’ll find it here. You already have so much on your plate, and I’m here to help make it feel more manageable.
